I was 16 when I received Christ as my Savior but quickly fell back into the worldly lifestyle. Janel and I were married when we were 18 years old and left our home town of Issaquah, Washington to pursue a career in the US Air Force. After ten rocky years of marriage we found ourselves on the brink of divorce. It was during this time I cried out to the Lord and was radically filled with the Holy Spirit. It was a Damascus Road like experience that delivered me from alcohol addiction and propelled me into the ministry. For the next seven years I continued to serve full time in the US Air Force, prepare for ministry, preach wherever the door was open and serve as Associate Pastor at Crossroads Ministry Centre in Tioga Louisiana. In 1992 we were reassigned to Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska and I was soon asked to join the ministry team at KingsWay Assembly of God as the Associate Pastor. We finished our military career in 1995 and stayed three more years in Alaska serving the Lord. The year 1998 moved the family again to Brookings, South Dakota where the last ten years have been spent as Senior Pastor at Brookings First Assembly of God and as South Dakota East Central Section Presbyter. God again has been calling, this time directing us to a season of Missionary Evangelism. We have both ministered in many venues and locations. We have traveled overseas ministering in Nigeria, Uganda, Southern Sudan, Guyana South America, Guatemala and many missions venues in the states. We have two grown children who are both married.
